In any work, civil engineering or building, in which personnel from different companies take part, the presence of the Health and Safety Coordinator is mandatory. Their designation is entrusted to the promoter of the work, and their mission will be to inform all workers participating in the work of the conditions and safety measures that they must observe, train them in safe practices and ensure compliance with the regulations. To safeguard their independence of judgment, this figure will not be able to assume voluntary management tasks in the work: they will not be able to be, at the same time, construction director or execution director.
