Structural wood offers three product categories:

1. Sawn or Solid Wood: This is the most immediate and even the most widespread version. It comes directly from wood extracted from forestry harvesting, with only a simple transformation process in the sawing facility, ecological and competitive. The usual squares range from 38×90 mm to 100×300[special 200x300mm]; The maximum acceptable length is, for common pieces, 6 m [singular pieces can reach

until 12 m].

2.Glued Laminated Wood: Technological product, coming from a transformation of greater specialization and cost than that of sawn wood, but which adds great versatility in the squares and dimensions of pieces, great reliability in the elimination of defects, and greater resistance against fire and chemical agents. They are sections of almost any dimension, with a straight or curved guideline, and with a constant or variable direction. The usual squares range from 90x230mm to 220x2300mm. The maximum length [360 m] is limited by transportation. Sheet thicknesses range from 33 to 45mm.

3.Microlaminated Wood:  Technological product, result of the lamination of light structural squares with great mechanical resistance. They are spruce veneers with the grain direction substantially parallel, 3 to 4 mm thick [special sections up to 6 mm]; capable of solving pieces with small radii of curvature, not feasible in laminated wood. The usual squares range from 21x100 mm to 75x900. The maximum manufacturing length reaches 23 m.
